Countryside Stewardship update March 2023

The Rural Payments Agency have announced applications have opened again for some elements of the Countryside Stewardship.They have also announced new payment rates, the average increase is around 10%, some organic options have seen a much larger  increase while some have remained static.

The application window for Countryside Stewardship (CS) Mid Tier and Wildlife Offer agreements, to start from 1 January 2024, opened 21 March 2023.

The closing date for CS Mid Tier applications is 18 August 2023.

There’s still time to apply for a CS Higher Tier agreement for 2024.
RPA will be accepting applications until 28 April 2023.
