Guerande/Celtic Sea salt is hand-harvested on the Celtic coast of France. Sun-dried, unprocessed, unrefined, and no additive. This salt is Protected Geographical Indication certified. It is a legacy of 2000 years old tradition. This salt is composed of only 71 to 74% of sodium chloride (ref: Dr Brian Clement). The remaining percentage is composed of bio-available minerals and trace elements (calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, manganese, sulphur, zinc, iodine and other nutritive elements).This is why it is grey. A bio available mineral is a mineral which has been “digested” by plants or animals. Humans body can only absorb bio-available minerals. |
