Ceranock has been innovatively designed to attract various populations of female fruit-flies, including; Mediterranean fruit fly, Ceratitis capitata, Peach fruit fly, Bactrocera zonata, Mexican fruit fly, Anastrepha ludens, Oriental fruit fly, Bactrocera dorsali, and other fruit-flies of economic importance. The hydrolysed protein used in Ceranock has been especially formulated to attract female fruit-fly population. As the female population of the fruit-fly desperately search for any source of protein during their egg laying period. Ceranock is capable of attracting them, thus, they end up in the flycatcher. Not only Ceranock controls female fruit-fly population numbers, but also minimizes their multiplication significantly by having the egg laying females as the main target.
