Polyversum provides a highly effective control against a wide range of pathogens, ensuring unprecedented efficacy. It’s based on a mycoparasitic ability of the originally soilborne fungal microorganism Pythium oligandrum. Polyversum has the same standard application windows as conventional fungicides, furthermore Polyversum has no pre-harvest interval so the consumption of treated produce is possible immediately after applying the product. Polyversum is authorized for a range of crops such as cereal crops and oil seed rape for control of Fusarium head blight, Sclerotinia stem rot and Phoma crown rot in the UK. In the EU, the product approval includes grape wine, hops, sunflower, strawberry and other berries, tomato, pepper, cucumber, brassica vegetables and other vegetables, peas, lupine, soy, poppy seed, turfs, forest and ornamental trees and the UK label is planned to be extended accordingly. Therefore, Polyversum offers organic farmers an effective tool to enhance their crop protection and yield.
