Aviguard® is a freeze dried preparation of normal intestinal bacteria derivedfrom healthy adult chickens.

Aviguard® acts by competitive exclusion to prevent colonization by transient pathogenic bacteria such as Salmonella, E. coli, Clostridium perfringens and Enterococcus.

Commercial poultry are hatched in near sterile environments and do not obtain immunisation or colonization of the caecum and ileum with bacteria transferred from their mother, leaving the chicks vulnerable to pathogens.

Aviguard helps the bird rapidly establish, restore or maintain a balanced & healthy intestinal flora.

It is applied by spray as a single dose onto chicks in the hatchery or on farm through the drinking systems.

Sold in pack sizes treating  2,000, 5,000, 10,000 or 25,000 chicks (25g, 62.5g, 125g, 312.5g  foil sachets)
