The Organic Livestock Marketing Co-operative (OLMC) are holding a series of organic talks in the South West.
As we enter a new decade in 2020 we would like to address the challenges facing the production/marketing of organic beef and lamb.
We will discuss marketing opportunities for organic store cattle and store lambs, finished cattle and sheep. We will also cover consumer trends, health, plant-based diets, ageing populations, allergies, pesticides, environmental concerns and social media. It is important to view all these trends together and see how they are all affecting and impacting on the beef market in differing ways. We will also talk about the overall trust and transparency in agriculture.
Please see the details below and if you are interested please book in by contacting Peter Jones at OLMC Office: 01829 730 580 / Mobile: 07720892 922
All meetings will start at 11.00am and tea/coffee and sandwiches will be provided.
