OF&G pays tribute to Bill Allen

It is with sadness that Organic Farmers & Growers must announce the death of company director, Bill Allen.

Bill, who was 69, passed away last week following a short illness.

He had been a director of OF&G for a number of years and had contributed to the expansion and success of the business.

Bill also worked for the Organic Livestock Marketing Co-operative (OLMC) and lived in Lincolnshire.

OF&G Chairman, Richard Thompson, said: “I have known Bill for some 25 years and I valued his friendship as well as his experience.

“Bill was very enthusiastic about organic food and farming and had devoted many years of his life to it, especially organic livestock, about which he advised and supported many people.

“He will be sadly missed by everyone at Organic Farmers & Growers and we pass on our deepest condolences to his family.”
